My heart is so heavy right now. I can't even begin to imagine what you proud parents must be going through. Me being a parent of two beautiful children, I can't even imagine. BUT me knowing that you guys believe in the ALL MIGHTY GOD!!!!!!! everything and anything is possible for those who have faith that everything will be alright. We all have a purpose in life and sometimes we aren't ready for our special little ones to be called home so soon. Our prayer is that God keeps your family in his hands for the rest of your lives. The Morton family will be in constant prayer for your family. God Bless and keep you. Just viewing Spencers photos, he seemed to be such a happy outgoing individual. What a blessing and a gift, to have been able to spend 6 1/2 years with such a beautiful child.

Anna, I don't have the words to express my sorrow for you and your family. Hold tight to your faith and the many friends and family that are surrounding you. Though I didn't know Spencer, I know that with you and Patrick as parents he had to be a very vibrant child. You were all blessed to have each other! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We are friends of Glen and Cecil, Sharon & Deborah. Knowing the Kirksey character, and reading the other messages, I'm sure that Spencer was quite the little man. You are in our thoughts & prayers, and remember that God is in control. Spencer was a beautiful child of God and an angel sent here on earth for only a brief time, but he is back in heaven now. Blessings and wishes for hope and comfort, Anthony, Mary, Nicholas and AJ

Please know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts during this most difficult time. As Shakespeare wrote, " When he shall die take him and cut him out into stars and he shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun."

To the Kirksey and Squire Families,

We are so saddened, and I pray that God gives you the strength to deal with the sudden loss of your precious little boy. After looking at the pictures of him, I could tell that he always seemed happy. He sure does look like his Grandpa Pat. Again, you are all in our prayers. God Bless You. Harold and Janey Mae Evans

I didn't know Spencer but my aunt is a friend of John Butcher and sent me an email about Spencer and his website! I am currently at Texas A&M and just want you to know that Spencer will always be an Aggie in my eyes! It's so sad to see such a young life taken from us but we have to know that God has a reason and Purpose in everything that happens and we just have to trust in him! Spencer is in such a better place, heaven and our hearts!! Squire Family, you are in my prayers!
I've been having a hard time at school but I'm going to keep a picture of Spencer at my desk and from now on when I want to give up I'm going to remember him and do my best and finish school in his honor as a Fightin' Texas Aggie!! GIG'EM SPENCER!!

My son Gib was in Spencer's group this summer at Soccer Camp. Although we only spent time with him that short week, his zest for life, sports, and the Aggies was very evident. After camp, he eagerly meet his mom with a sweaty hug and news of the day. Everyday Anna came with two Sonic Cokes, one for Spencer and one for the Coach. It seems like a small thing to notice but to me it showed a mom committed to "show love" in even the simplest of ways. These small acts of kindness are what make our children feel special, valued, and loved. I know Spencer was loved tremendously and will be missed even more. My daily prayer for you and your family is God's grace to encompass you giving you a peace that only He can. God bless you and your precious family!

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart aches for you, Patrick, Ryan, and the entire family. I can't begin to imagine the sorrow you feel. I remember meeting Spencer when he was just about 7 months old - what a cutie with those bright beautiful eyes. It sounds like he had a jam-packed 6 years of love, friends, family, fun, sports, and adventure.

We are so blessed by our children, and you were all such a blessing for Spencer. I'm hugging and loving my boys extra tight thinking of you.

I hope you can find comfort in God's special love for Spencer and your family. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.

Anna, Patrick and Ryan-
We've all had lumps in our throats and heavy hearts ever since we got the news last Sunday. Seeing this photo gallery reminded us just how quickly time has passed (since he joined us to cheer on those Plano Panthers) and the true happiness that is so apparent in Spencer's precious smile. We love you and will continue to rally every prayer warrior we know to ask for the strength and peace that only He can give. John, Tamerah & Haley

Our prayers and thoughts have been with you throughout this week. Marie and I feel blessed that we have known the Squire family for the past several years and have seen Spencer and his friends develop into special, loving individuals. I was fortunate, as Grandfather to Davis Moye, to see Spencer and his teammates play in different sports. Spencer was no doubt an outstanding athlete and his Dad was always there with encouragment and praising his effort. The main attributes I saw about Spencer and his 'buddies' were their special ways they encouraged each other and had genuine fun playing sports. Marie and I will miss seeing the 'leftie' hit that hard ball down the first base line for a home run, driving toward the basket for a goal, hitting the driver out there 200 yards and setting his teammates up with a 'kick' in the goal.
Our Lord has a special young man in his hands now and we will remember his special relationship with our grandson, Davis.

Dear Squire Family,
We want to express our sincere sorrow at the news of your loss. The faith and unselfishness you have demonstrated during this difficult time is a testimony to the Spirit you embody. We are grateful to your family and friends who have allowed some of us to be a part of Spencer''s final days on this earth. We have united in prayer, with the knowledge that God will surround you with His Love. Today He proudly welcomes your little boy home.
Spencer has left a legacy that will sustain the many people who have been touched by his brief life. Ryan will grow up knowing that his big brother was a real HERO. The gifts he left behind are priceless. From the life-sustaining organs to the hand prints left on our hearts, he has succeeded in making a good number of us better people than we were just a week ago.

Dear Spence:

Thank you for touching so many lives in so many wonderful ways.

As I told your dad, I feel so blessed and priviledged to have met you recently after knowing your mommy and daddy for over 13 years. You are a chip off the old block.

I will always cherish the recent evening we had with Ryan, your daddy, mom and grandma at your house during my visit. The toughness you displayed was way beyond any 6 year old when the football I threw to you hit your nose! The way you choked back tears and told me, "I'm OK, Mr. Tiny" will always bring a smile to my face and warmth to my heart.

That entire evening was so special for me. Spending quality time with such good friends as your parents, you and Ryan was a huge treat for me during my trip.

Thank you for allowing me to get to know you, and for letting me be your friend. I'll never forget you telling me to "Come back soon, Mr. Tiny!!"

May God bless you and your family.

I love you and your family very much, and thank you again for touching my life. I will never forget my favorite little Aggie.

Dear Spencer,
Although we never met you, we feel as if we know you from the stories we’ve heard from Rebecca and Chris…stories about your larger than life personality, your energy, imagination and zest for life. You obviously were one gifted little athlete. We find it amazing that you have impacted such a large community of people in your six short years of life. We pray that Mommy, Daddy and Ryan will find much comfort in knowing that, in your time on earth, you have made life richer and dearer, not only for them, but for many others.

God’s grace and peace to your family,
