Spencer Story-Time Project

To continue Spencer's love of learning and reading, we are starting the Spencer Story-Time Project at Boon Elementary which will provide books to over 700 underpriviledged children in Allen.

The First Annual "Spencer's All-Star Story Time Project" was a huge success!

Thanks to the students and staff at Boon Elementary, the Allen Community, the Collin County residents who provided books and to the Boon Dads Club for distributing the books to Allen Community Outreach.

Together we donated approximately 3,000 books to underpriviledged children in Collin County. Highlights were all the smiles on students faces as they brought books to school. The annual Reading with The Eagles Day made a fun day as the Allen Football Team brought books to donate and read to all of the elementary school classes. They make reading cool.

A special bonus was our neighbor and Boon Dad who flew his Chinook US Army Cargo Helicopter and landed in the open field at Boon Elementary providing a special personalized book in Honor of Spencer, We the Kids, a book about the US Constitution. What an honor and a tribute for all of the Boon Students as they got to tour the helicopter.

What a fun day and a great way to help others. The books were donated to the Allen Community Outreach and the Assistance Center of Collin County, which will provide books in the Angel Tree Goodie Bags that go out to children in Collin County at Christmas.
